Filmadex is designed to help filmmakers use emerging technology responsibly during development and packaging while preserving authorship, authenticity and human creative control.
AI supports the process. Filmmakers make the film.
Filmadex does not use AI to write filmmakers’ screenplays or to create finished films. We use AI to support development and pre-production — including project analysis, budgeting, planning, breakdowns, packaging, and visualization.
Filmadex’s visual development tools — lookbooks, characters, environments, storyboards, and shots — help filmmakers develop and communicate what they want to make. Visualization is a bridge to production, not a replacement for the actors, directors, cinematographers, production designers, editors, and crews who bring films to life.

Creativity stays with the filmmaker
AI may assist with analysis, visualization and development workflows, but the filmmaker remains responsible for the creative vision and decisions.

Development, not replacement
Filmadex helps projects move toward production. It is not designed to generate the completed movie or remove the people who make films from the creative process.

Consent matters
Use of a real person’s likeness should begin with permission.

Rights and provenance matter
Filmadex requires rights attestations in relevant upload workflows and is designed around users having appropriate rights to materials they introduce into the platform.

Creators should understand where AI is being used and retain meaningful control over the development workflow.

How Filmadex uses AI
AI where it helps. Human judgment where it matters.
Filmadex uses AI to reduce the technical, administrative, and repetitive work involved in developing and packaging a film project. That includes helping filmmakers analyze and organize screenplay information, develop visual materials, structure project information, support budgeting and production-planning workflows, and assemble the materials needed to communicate a project clearly.
The goal is not to automate the creative decisions that define the film. It is to reduce the work around those decisions so filmmakers can spend more time on the story, the creative vision, the team, and the choices that require human judgment.
Across Filmadex, AI is intended to function as an assistant within the development process rather than as a substitute for the people making the film.

Filmadex is building a consent-first framework for the use of performer likeness in AI-assisted development materials.
The intended framework is designed around:

- Defined categories of allowed use

- Performer control over whether and how likeness may be used
This capability is currently in development and is not yet available for general use. Filmadex is building the authorization and permission framework before enabling performer likeness in standard AI-assisted workflows.
