Lana Newishy
Founder and CEO, Filmadex
Lana Newishy is the founder and CEO of Filmadex, a film development and packaging platform created from her own experience moving an independent screenplay toward production. After building technology and automated workflows to simplify the fragmented development and packaging process, she began turning those systems into a platform for other filmmakers.
Newishy brings extensive experience across strategy, operations, finance, business transformation, M&A, and technology-enabled workflow design. Her career has included strategy and transformation leadership at The Estée Lauder Companies, senior operating and finance roles, management consulting, and multiple entrepreneurial ventures. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is also the founder of Shescapes Productions. Through Filmadex, she is applying an operator's systems perspective to make film development more connected while keeping creativity, authenticity, and human control at the center.
